About the club
Together, quietly
We are the club for people whose favourite part of a book club is the book. Fifty minutes of shared silence over lunch: laptops away, phones face down, tea within reach.
There's an optional ten minutes at the end for "what are you reading?". Plenty of regulars have never stayed for it, and that's completely fine.
House rules
Any book, any language, any genre. Work documents don't count.
The silence is the point, so save the chat for the last ten minutes.
Leaving early is fine. Nodding at someone's book choice is encouraged.
